ABOUT US
Back in 1999, our not-for-profit organisation realised that by working together we could fight the challenges facing our libraries, such as; the repeated cuts in opening hours, staffing, and book stocks. In several boroughs, closures have left large areas devoid of library services – depleting both quality of life and cultural standards.
We are an alliance of library user groups and supporters, who believe that libraries are a significant force in combatting social exclusion.
We know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by but also through the actions of our initiatives.
